Deep in the hills of the Madawaska Highlands where we learned to hunt, Eric & Peter built a cottage, a dacha on a hidden lake.
The lot site first gained local fame as a productive place to hunt partridge (ie ruffed grouse).
Later the area became known for Ten Point Watch after Al, just a few hundred yards down a nearby bush trail, shot a 10-point whitetail buck on his 1st ever hunt.
